Justice is a concept where parties receive the same position and rights. In a patrilineal family system which determines that the heir is a male child, it seems to bring about the concept of gender inequality in the distribution of inheritance. In modern times, women's duties are not just taking care of the house, but also having a career and many other things. This is also the reason for the need for gender equality, especially in this discussion regarding the distribution of inheritance. Balinese customary inheritance law adheres to a patrilineal system, this conveys the picture of the weaker position of women compared to men in terms of inheritance distribution, therefore this paper will examine the justice system in Balinese customary inheritance law, as well as how the law regulates protection and equality of rights. society, so that a picture can be found regarding women's rights in the distribution of inheritance.
