Peran Layanan Khusus Asrama Sebagai Penguat Manajemen Mutu Pendidikan Di Muhammadiyah Boarding School (MBS) SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Weleri

Management of special services in school is basically defined and organized ti facilitate and expedite learning and to meet the special needs of student. In school special services are held in schools with the aim of facilitating the implementation of teaching in the context of achieving aducational goals in schools. This study examines why educational institution of MBS SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Weleri implements special services for management and change. Obtained from it. This study uses qualitative deskriptive approach, where the researcher collects data in natural setting by interpreting the phenomena that occur, the research procedures carried out are (1) the pre-field (scientific) stage where researchers examine rational, empirical and systematic science, (2) the field work stage (rational) is the activities of researchers in the field. And (3) the data analysis stage (empirical) in the stage the researcher processes the data that has been obtained. In this study, it was found that MBS SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Weleri implements special dormitory services due to several factors including the decrease in the number of students, reduced public interest in high school (SMA), and poor high school student association. With good management as well as adequate infrastructure MBS SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Weleri got the desired result from implementing this special dormitory service, including: the number of student was increasing and more competition were being won.
